Building Stronger Communities: Taller de Crianza y Conexión at Wearsos

Recently, were proud to host the Taller de Crianza y Conexión (Parenting and Connection Workshop), an initiative designed to strengthen family bonds, nurture personal growth, and foster community well-being.

Led by our incredible facilitators, Jeanete Reyes and Charley Dussault, the workshop showed the power of community learning. Jeanete and Charley brought their years of expertise in family counseling and education to share practical strategies for parents to navigate the emotional, social, and cognitive growth of their children.

Connecting Families Through Shared Experiences

The workshop was a beautiful testament to the importance of creating space for education and connection.

The morning began with an engaging session focused on equipping parents with tools to navigate the emotional, social, and cognitive development of their children across various life stages. Parents shared their personal experiences, asked thoughtful questions, and left the session feeling more empowered to strengthen their relationships with their children.

In the afternoon, we opened the doors to the children, inviting them to join their families in fun, interactive activities designed to build stronger bonds. From collaborative games to creative exercises, the workshop was alive with laughter, joy, and the unmistakable energy of connection. For us at Wearsos, this day was a reminder that our efforts ripple out into the community, creating a positive impact far beyond our workshop walls.
